When you’re building a new home on well water, the best time to plan your water treatment system is before the walls are finished.
For this new construction project in Franklin Lakes, we worked with the homeowner during the framing stage to design a complete water treatment system before the sheetrock went up.
That planning allowed us to hide plumbing inside the walls, supply reverse osmosis water to multiple locations, and create a clean installation that will serve the home for years.
After the foundation and framing were complete, our team pre-plumbed the home for the future water treatment system.

We also routed the reverse osmosis drain line through the wall framing so there would be no exposed tubing after construction was complete.
Every pipe was clearly labeled during rough plumbing, making the final installation easier once the home was ready.
Before selecting the equipment, the homeowner had their well water tested by a laboratory.
The results showed elevated levels of PFOA, one of the PFAS compounds often called forever chemicals.
Based on those results, we designed a treatment system that could address the home’s water quality while providing enough water flow for a large house.
Once construction was nearing completion, we returned to install the finished system.
This home received:

From there, reverse osmosis water can be delivered to several locations throughout the home.
